The artist’s description is pretty much exact; the paintings are without doubt influenced by the impressionists of the past. I almost desire artists who paint still life, I did try once and it's much more difficult than you may think. Let's take the bowl of lemons, and the melon, on the right, we are looking down on to the topic, the perspective is exceedingly difficult to draw correctly yet Patricia makes it all seem easy.
