Old, expired plastic credit cards have numerous uses as a tool for oil painting (be sure to deface the information on the card!). Some of which are:
  • To get straight edges.
  • Creating painting "knives" which may be bent and/or cut with a scissors or knife to any contour.
  • Ditto for sgraffito.
  • Scraping paint off a canvas.
  • Cleaning the palette.
  • Bent at a right angle to lean a wet brush on.
