Painting takes pictures of. Women at one time stood on the outer edge of the dancers; some wrongly suppose that the women weren't "allowed" to dance when in actuality they really made the circle or arena with their occurrence. Here no barriers, roped off arenas, police tape, hay bales, etc. There were the women and their role to the dance was vital. I can offer this in giclee print on picture.

We rang the bell outer surface the Haveli and a girl called out. We asked if we would get some feast and she asked us to come in. She is a little girl studying in class 6 and has an elder and a younger sibling. We asked for Aloo Paratha (flat Indian bread filled with potatoes) and chai (tea) and while we were waiting the youthful girl kept chatting with us.

If you're painting on a white ground, lay out your paints on top of a white palette, and if you're working on a color ground, lay your paints out made of wood palette. This way your colors look similar on your palette to what they'll show on your canvas.

My palette is made from with little clear perspex (Plexiglas) and I'm lazy when it comes to cleaning it so I wrap the palette with grip film before applying spots of paint on it. This is a method called painting with light where you leave the shutter open (bulb mode) on you camera and just use a glow to set where you want to expose, the light in this example was just a small pen light but you can do the similar sort of thing in fields at night with torches to enlighten say, rocks or trees. In this picture of my epiphone and amplifier I just opened the shutter and traced encircling the edges of each element, i.e. body, strings, amp etc. This shaped multiple exposures which I then joint in Photoshop (I believe I set the blend mode to monitor to keep only the lightest parts). A stand is essential as neither the camera nor the theme can move during any of the exposures and obviously the less ambient light entering the room the better.

Thanks for the suggestions (and encouragement) regarding how to do my doll's face. I finished up painting a very simple smiling face, and it was so much easier than I estimated. Easier than embroidery for me, because I contain lots more understanding about painting than I do embroidering. I also added few pigtails, a skirt, some band trim and hair bows. And small felt shoes...

One with fashioned level fences, balustrades and flowers. In my variation it is top if the fashioned level is painted white and the flowers are climbing roses or whatever. A large quantity of vegetation is also helpful. Yet again summer and tall tones are well placed but make sure there is areas of deep difference that draw the eye. If you affix small children and romantic remembrances of babyhood then extra demand can be added and the customers and focus groups will not doubt be grateful for the effort.

And so in this condition I have utilized in my 'beauty and the beast' effort that you see below. I purposely evoked the summer Mediterranean feel so as to counterpoint the horrible 'beast'. This of course would prevent otherwise good sales, but then again - is fame and fortune worth all that? In the marketplace this is money each way painting. There might be someone our there who may like both elements.

Fine, these paintings are but two variations on high-quality and experienced formulas that may make you a fortune if you need one. I include maybe ten other tried and victorious 'themes'.

I am not a trained painter by any means; in information until freshly I tried to paint anything moreover abstract designs or simple stuff like cup cakes. But now I've tried to do a commission of two cute little girls and let me tell you faces are the hardest object to paint.

To be clever to show depth and skin tones and hair colors as sensible is so hard. Perhaps if I had gone to art educate and spent many hours of proper training doing nothing but this I wouldn't feel so panicky by this but anyway I am receiving off the track...

I am leaving to post the original picture that I finished up painting from, it's unusual from the one I thought I would use to start with. Then I will post the trail up paintings and hopeful the finishing painting when I am totally done.

Village Paintings encompass within themselves not just colors and subjects, but also an overpowering sense of homesickness, longing for a way of life, which is or the majority cases has already rapid disappearing. Colorful images of costumed men and women planting, hoeing, harvesting, watering their crops or possibly heading to the market, projects a rather idyllic delusion of a village life, and yet they direct to make us yearn for something which is/in all probability never there.

Village Painting is not a very easy type to pin down. After all it's a topic which almost every traditions and people has dealt with –whether its the ode on a Grecian pot that Keats so expressively talks about in his poetry or the rural Warli paintings of Maharastrian tribal societies, Village paintings have had different and distant flung practitioners.

Using the rules of perception to create an illusion of depth is only one style of painting. In both medieval and modern paintings in Western art tradition, for instances, artists have presented their subjects without this, in a much flatter, unnaturalistic or unrealistic manner.

But let's bounce the in-depth analysis of perspective and the use of the picture plane, to rather focus on my key point: using perspective to create an illusion of depth in a painting is but one option available to you. You don't have to divide a painting into a foreground, middle ground, and background if you don't want to. You can adapt and change it as you like.

In these optical illusions, the brain interprets what the eye sees in a way that differs from measurable certainity.

A piece of canvas art can breath new life into a newly decorated room, or even an existing room that is lacking in any real feature. If it’s a working space, a piece of canvas art can really do justice on an office wall space. It can help create a calm working environment or a focal point in which to get you lost in during your lunch breaks.

Canvas paintings generate such an ambience in itself that even in the corner of your eye, you know that in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you can take five minutes to gaze out and escape into an imaginary window of vivid colours, contours and brush strokes.

There is an ever-growing collection of modern art, canvas art, original canvas paintings and canvas prints available to one, so your choice in investing in a piece of canvas art is limitless. Who says you should only have one? Why not create and abundance of colors in your living space and place a canvas painting in each room to either match your surroundings or your mood. Create a focal point for you and your guests to admire and tell the world that canvas paintings are an essential piece of interior wall candy.

It can be dangerous knowing what to say when a friend asks you what you think about their latest painting or to give a critique. But there are some things you should never say if you value your friendship.
  • What is it?
  • Do you paint like this because you don't know how to paint real things?
  • Why don’t you use more paint? Why did you use so much [insert color]?
  • It looks so real, did you trace it?
  • Why didn’t you just take a photo?
  • The colors will match the curtains in my living room nicely. (The context of your conversation is art, not home decorating.)
  • Show it to me again when it's finished. What are you still planning to do with it?
Saying something pleasant about a painting rather than finding fault or giving 'helpful' suggestions doesn't mean you haven't looked properly or that you're ignorant about art nor unsophisticated. Ill-considered comments can be hurtful in ways you never intended. The person showing you their paintings is showing you something that's important to them, that they've spent time creating. Be happy for them that they're enjoying what they're doing, even if you don't like the result.

This occasion of year brings forth so many beautiful artistic opportunities. Gather several leaves that are intact and not too dried out. Choose as many shades of orange, red, yellow, and brown as possible. Press these leaves between waxed paper in a large book over night.

Start with radiance colors in the center of the canvas, like yellow or orange, and work out toward the edges. Allow the canvas to dry nearly-completely. While the paint is still tacky, embellish the painting with the pressed leaves, ephemera, and embellishments. Create a collaged look, a scrapbook appearance, or a structured painting carrying a specific theme.

Add text, quotations, song lyrics, and random thoughts about Paintings. Be sure to layer text over the paint, as well as over the ephemera to tie it all in together. Seal the entire piece with another layer of gel or decoupage medium once the ink and paint has dried completely.

Rendering vegetables and fruits in oil painting are amongst the most satisfying experience for the artist. Not only do they offer fascinating shapes and colours, they are also edible. For this reason, a painting containing food in the raw state such as from the never fails to draw the eye.

How to Capture the Richness of the cucumber Fruit in a Painting

In order to emphasize the strong reds that are found in strawberries, placing them onto a subdued background such as a sheet will never fail to draw the eye. Like wise in order to create designs they used lively fruits like Cucumber, Turnip..etc. Much thought must be given to setting up the still life in order to create a balanced composition and increase the likelihood of a satisfactory painting.

A painter with knowledge of some years of painting in his or her pocket would like to do an artwork that depicts some perspective. After getting some mastery in the field of painting, the artists would try his or her hand in creating a perspective illusion in their paintings, too.

This type painting is done in the style of creating perspective illusionism. In this style of painting, an artist try blurring blurs the boundary between the real space and the fictitious space that we can observe on a canvas. In this painting we see a very realistic figure, a boy trying to jump out of a window. But by creating the perspective illusion, the painter has succeeded in converting this two dimensional painting into a three dimensional one.

Modern paintings on canvas should be considered something of an investment and a keepsake that you can pass down through the generations as something from this era. Like the paintings of the masters were passed down to this generation, so should these modern art pieces be passed on to the next generations to come?

Modern art is a good illustration of our times and the prevalent artistic style that artists of this generation use. The different kinds of modern art you can choose from include pop art, modern abstract pieces, unique silhouette and figure paintings, realistic-looking still life, and modern landscapes and seascapes. The many types of modern art on canvas you can choose for your home may make others to wonder to see your painting.

We've always heard the saying Art imitating life and life imitating art. In some cases, a painting may give us that feeling of accomplishment not because of what is being depicted on the painting but because of the value of the artwork. You look at that highly collectible artwork on your wall, heave a sigh and say "I've made it!”.

Paintings and our mood

Selecting a painting is a very fragile process because it can transform the mood in any room. A casual watercolor painting can make any person relax inside a stuffy business office.

This is the very reason why paintings make such good accents in virtually any room there are so many choose from that there is bound to be a piece or two that is just exactly what you are looking for.

Stones fall into a related category as shells in as much as they are uniquely individual and can be found on the sea shore, in the bush and in most gardens.

Some stones show dull to the eye and yet on deeper observation they can be found to have a most interesting shape which lends itself to a specific design for decoration.

This stone itself was scheduled grey slightly mottled and had some rough texture; this was taken into consideration when the tail was placed, and dimension was given to the form of the cat.

Launch collecting small, large, medium, colorful, and plain and “anything goes” type of stone and when an idea stirs your imagination a stone will be there for you to complement. Once you have decorated a stone, you could find it an obsession and no stone will be left unturned!

When you think of restoring a valuable painting many procedures come to mind, but restoring an oil painting or priceless antique can be as easy as dusting it off or applying a new coat of varnish. You can restore any type painting done from oil or acrylic, and that are on wood or canvas board.

A frequent method for restoring and oil painting is by cleaning. The accumulation of dirt and other debris can leave your painting a mess. Removing the dirt layer by layer can restore your picture to its original order. After it’s been cleaned, adding a coat of varnish will complete the finishing touches to make your painting look like new.

A different way to restore your oil painting is by have it re-stretched or tightened. For a somewhat wrinkled art piece you can have it tightened with the use of a stretcher bar. If your oil painting has lots of wrinkles you will need to have it re-stretched.

The phrase canvas serves as a generic term for any fabric that's used as a support for painting. The fabric can be cotton duck, linen, or a synthetic fiber.

Cotton duck canvas has not anything do to with ducks but it is the most common and the cheapest painting canvas. It comes in various weights and weaves. The cheapest cotton canvases are loosely woven and the fabric can easily distort when stretched if you're not careful. If you're stretching your own cotton canvas, you may even find it cheaper in a fabric store than an art supplies store.

You can fill in the indentation in the weave with primer or gesso to create a smoother painting surface. Or you can use the weave of the canvas as part of the texture of your painting.

Canvas paintings are a best way to accent your home and personality. They can be more personable than just regular posters or framed pictures. Canvas paintings need a secure anchor to the wall in order for their weight to be held up.
  • Decide where to hang up the canvas painting. This depends upon the size of the canvas and where you feel the color scheme or design will match best in the house.
  • Use the tape to measure the extent of the canvas painting. Place one circle marking on the far left edge, one directly in the center and one at the far right. Make sure the level measures straight across so the painting will appear straight.
  • The status of nail should be at least an inch into the wall and at least a 1/2 inch out of the wall so the canvas painting can hang comfortably and securely.
  • Situate the canvas painting onto the three nails once they are secured. Before letting go, make sure that the canvas is secured to the wall and will not fall.

There is a lot of developer interest in Silverlight 2.0. you can see that a number of very smart people have been using the facility to draw attention to their Silverlight work.

Many have started to take an interest in Silverlight, and though the applications currently working on do not really apply, I expect that at some point in the not-too-distant future will have some that do. So, we want to devote a small portion of my available "study time" to Silverlight as it evolves.

One thing I would like to do with a new programming medium is to look at its graphics capabilities. Since Silverlight does not support bitmap graphics but rather works with vector graphics, this requires a bit of a mind-shift for those fractal geometry types who like to play with imaginary numbers on the complex plane.

Life is full of adventures and recollections of memories. The time can’t flow back, but memories can. And how nice would it be if we can recall those memories by seeing things which beholds the essence of the beautiful past. Photography is the best option for capturing the precious moments. Other than that video graphs is second best option for recreating the live scenes of the precious past. But before the invention of all these canvas paintings were there.

A painting speaks lot more than words. We live the moment by just seeing the picture. And if it is a family portrait it becomes more precious. The family portrait is an heirloom and heritage. And each of them tells the story of our loved ones. The family portraits range from traditional oil paintings to photography to videography. Oil paintings are expensive and difficult to preserve but still a rage in itself. Photography is economical from all points of view.

Painting on canvas is the technique to go in a modern artistic age. Do you know the best medium for oil painting that provides the best finishing and texture? It is nothing other than canvas. Therefore, what is canvas painting? It is the term given to painting specifically done on canvas.

Before an artist gets in progress with painting on canvas, he stretches the canvas on a simple wooden frame which is known as a stretcher. Because it prevents the oil paint to come in contact and mix up with the fibers of canvas which can cause severe damage to the painting. It is a kind of protection.

Acrylic paints on canvas are very versatile. With acrylics, you can vertically paint on any surface. Painting on canvas, is a fun hobby that produces lasting works of art for you to display, sell or give as gifts. Of canvas products, canvas paper is the least expensive surface for painting on. The paper is appropriate for watercolor, oil and acrylic painting.

They are suitable for all types of media, including acrylics, watercolor and oils. Some advantages of using canvas boards are cost and the fact that they are thin. It's very easy to find matters and frames when the painting or work is on a thin surface.

Prehistoric men painted animals for several reasons. Is it so strange that present day Artists are serious about capturing animals in their artwork. What does this have to do with "Hearts of Therapy"? Everything… if we take the time to see what is going on right in front of our eyes we would notice that our beloved dogs are more than just primitive canines and capable guards.

"I trust to help the patients heal through my artworks! The dogs in this painting are well known in our local facilities and visit the very patients who will be viewing the originals and whom love the dogs dearly and count on them to boost their moral, help them heal and lower their blood pressure."

These outdoor wall canvas paintings can safely be hung outdoors for year round enjoyment. They have a look of stretched canvas and it has UV inks that are printed directly on to the aluminum. The artwork wraps around the sides giving the picture an amazing three dimensional quality.

The reproduction quality is so specific it is almost impossible to tell it is not a real canvas. The surface coating has been scientifically tested to with stand the harshest weather conditions. The canvas can be smooth or faux finish texture. Aluminum is a lightweight metal with a bright silvery luster. It is strong and resistant to the elements which make it perfect for outdoor use.

The reproduction of old master painting in paper seems to be lifeless and lacks in texture , while the original is painted directly onto canvas, which has a beautiful nature texture visible to the eye. Canvas also brings out the best pigments in the painting.

Canvas printing involves a lot of laborious and delicate work, and it's best to delegate the job to true professionals in the business who will do the job with care and skill won from years of experience. Canvas printing truly offers the human touch. It has to be worked on by hand, to stretch, seal and frame the material.

There are two essential things in every painting:

Negative space: This is the background and the foreground area around the subject matter.
Positive space: This is the subject matter itself.

The negative space is often ignored in a painting, but if the two were given equal attention, the composition would look more balanced and pleasing to the eye.

When it comes to arranging the objects, it is a good idea to be aware of the negative space. Consider if it as having shapes as much as the objects. Negative shapes are the outlines of the background and foreground between the objects.

We know that all over the world, people generally like original work, for example, an original painting will be admired closely by those who are interested and highly motivated in this area of work.

The World Famous Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo da Vinci, is still fascinating to this day, due to the "original" personal creativity that people love. And people still admire this creative work with curiosity even after Leonardo's death in the year 1519.

The same would apply to original work such as President Obama’s famous Speech in 2004 in Boston, Massachusetts, well before he was elected or any other work that is purely original.

One way to embellish a high tech home is to simply stay modern! Abstract artwork will fit right in with your electronics. Many of these pieces are very colorful, which balances out the metal colors of your electronics.

Another way to stay with the modern theme is to select for cityscape and architecture photographs they will blend perfectly with metallics and blacks, whether in color or black and white.

To warm up a high tech room, try the idea of floral paintings or photographs or the soft and colorful landscape paintings. If you stay with the theme of natural scenes in your artwork, you will create a cohesive look even in your high tech atmosphere.

One of the main thing to keep in mind when you start painting as a new hobby is that if you are used to drawing with pencil or other medium, the paintbrush is an entirely different tool to get used to.

In Canvas Painting, There are many types including canvas boards, rolled canvas, stretched canvas and canvas mats. Try using them all over time and decide on your favorite and use it.

Once you have chosen your brush and canvas, you will need to decide on the type of paint that you want to use. Oil paints are slow drying and may be good for art pieces that you plan on doing over a period of time. Oil paint can easily be rejuvenated using things like paint thinner and turpentine
.

Remember that art is about Practicing. Have fun with mixing paint colors and seeing what you can come up with. Use different sizes and types of canvases, different sized brushes and different types of paints
